First issued by Hemisphere Publishing in 1983 after more than ten years in development, the Heat Exchanger Design Handbook proved a major success that became wellknown in both industrial and academic circles as a single-source compendium of technical information. Originally a five-volume, loose-leaf publication, it was updated during the 1980s with six supplements. A 1990 hardbound edition included the original material and the first five supplements.
